Midhurst in bloom 2016 winners

Here are the final results of the 2016 Midhurst In Bloom Garden Competition

Our judges spent the morning of Thursday 23 June assessing twelve Midhurst gardens.  They were accompanied by the new Chair of the Community and Environment committee, Lesley Campbell.  The standard and level of commitment was very high with some familiar names but also some new-comers.  There had been heavy rain the day before but the gardens were lovely and gave the judges several hours work to come to their unanimous decisions. Pictured below, being congratulated by Lesley Campbell, is Mike Nobes, winner of the Larger Garden category, at his home in Guillards Oak.

Thank you to everyone who entered.  It was a pleasure to be invited into their gardens and we all spent an interesting and rewarding morning visiting them.  A special thank you goes to our judges John Humphris, David Tunks and Wendy Liddle for their time and commitment to Midhurst in Bloom.  We hope to see many more people and groups discovering the joys of gardening and sharing their results with us all.  We look forward to welcoming you to next year's competition.
