John Travers was brought up on the North Norfolk coast. He moved to Midhurst at the beginning of 1993 to take up the post of Pathology Manager at King Edward VII Hospital.
John is married and has two children and four grandchildren. He has been involved in community events and organisations for most of his time in the town. The proximity of the town to Goodwood and his interest in historic motorsport, sit well together! John is also currently Midhurst’s Town Crier.
He is keen to see Midhurst continue to develop and evolve whilst retaining the core spirit that makes it such a pleasant place to live.
