Under the Local Government Act 1972, local Councils must hold an Annual Parish or Town Meeting between 1st March and 1st June. These meetings are separate from the regular and Annual meetings of the Town Council. Midhurst is defined as a Town for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1972.
