Michele moved to Midhurst in 2007 having fallen in love “at first sight” when she came house hunting with partner Andy. It was Michele‘s love of the outdoors that drew her to the area and in 2022 she published a book of walks to encourage people to explore the beautiful countryside around the town.
Since moving to Midhurst, Michele has been actively involved in town life, supporting local businesses, attending events, and generally enjoying being part of the Midhurst community. She now feels it’s time to “give back”.
Michele works at the University of Surrey. Going part-time in January 2023 has presented an opportunity to formalise the support she can give to the town. Michele is looking forward to getting involved with as many projects as time (and the council) will allow. She says “I bring energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for Midhurst and am ready and willing to help wherever I can.”
