Midhurst Town Council were lucky enough to receive a grant recently from the South Downs Trust to purchase some new litter picking equipment.
We have taken the opportunity to purchase some new litter pickers, a Handi-cart and some child-friendly litter pickers.
We are hosting a Big Town Tidy on Saturday 18th November – all residents are welcome to join us at the Old Library from 10am to collect litter picking equipment, we will then head to high level areas and meet back at the Old Library for coffee and biscuits.
There will be a competition on the day, with prizes for the highest amount of litter collected and also for the most unusual item!
